Want to buy a piece of jewelry but aren’t sure what size or length is right for you?

This size guide is here to help anyone unsure about the necklace length or ring size they need. Here you’ll find all the information you need to find the right size for you. If you still can’t figure it out, get in touch and I’ll be happy to help

There are several ways to find the necklace length you want

You can measure bracelet length in the same way

Measuring the length of an existing necklace
If you have a necklace in the desired length, you can measure it with a ruler (when it’s unclasped, of course)

Measuring the length using a string
1. Wrap the string around your neck until it feels as snug as you want
2. Cut the string where the two ends meet, then measure its length with a ruler. This is the right length for you
All the methods above are not 100% accurate for determining your size
The following methods can help you determine your ring size more accurately, but not with complete certainty
Measuring an existing ring
If you have a ring that fits the finger you’d like to wear your new ring on, you can visit any jewelry store near you and ask them to measure its size. They’ll be happy to help
Measuring an existing ring—another method
Take a ring you own that fits the finger you’d like to wear the new ring on, and measure
its diameter with a ruler. You can then find the size that fits your finger in the size chart.
The measurement indicates the ring’s diameter. To find your size, measure the diameter of a ring you own with a ruler. (Measure only the inside of the ring, not the outer edge)

Instructions 
1. Place the ring on a sheet of paper
2. Use a pen or pencil to mark two points on the inner edge of the ring, directly opposite each other
3. Draw a straight line between the two points and measure its length with a ruler (in millimeters, not centimeters)
4. Use the chart below to convert the ring’s diameter in millimeters to its size
For example, if the line measures 17 mm, refer to the conversion chart below. A diameter of 17 mm is closest to ring size 54 (European sizing). That is your ring size

Install the app and follow these instructions
1. Place a ring you own on your phone screen
2. Adjust the circle on the screen to match the size of your ring on the inside
3. The size displayed on the screen is your size

Measuring your finger circumference
This is the least accurate and least recommended method. It is mainly useful when you don’t have a ring in the size you need
 
What you’ll need
Measuring tape / ruler
A thin strip of paper
A pen or pencil

Instructions
1. Cut a thin strip of paper—it should be straight and not too thick
2. Wrap the strip of paper around your finger, making sure it sits below the knuckle and close enough to the joint itself (the part connecting your finger to your hand)
3. Mark where the paper meets, then measure the resulting length with a ruler or measuring tape
4. Use the chart below to convert your finger circumference to a ring size

 
Tips for measuring your ring size
Finger sizes on your right hand are not always the same as those on your left. Make sure your hand is not too hot or too cold when measuring, as your hand expands and contracts accordingly (expanding in the heat and contracting in the cold). It’s best to measure at room temperature

– It’s best to measure the thickest part of your finger
– When measuring your finger circumference, make sure the tape is not too tight or too loose. It should feel the way you’d like the ring itself to feel on your finger
– If you’re unsure of your size, it’s best to choose a larger size (about half a size up) rather than a smaller one than the measurement you got
